I meet Ahmed in the town of Imlil. He is a great experienced mountain guide, told me many stories and we had a good chilled out chat in town. He told me of a few quieter walks via some Berber villages I could do as I was not in Imlil for trekking the Altas Mountains. We talked about my return 2019 and ideas of what to do for a 5 days hike in the mountains.
Ashmed suggested a hike in Asni before heading to Mkesh, he kindly organised for me to go to his friends shop, Ali, to store my backpack while hiking in the Kik platoue in Asni. Loved it! so much quieter and worth going there for a hike!!
