Desert Tour with Camel Riding

Our 4 day desert tour offers the opportunity to experience the less visited and more remote desert of the south of Morocco. With a length of approximately 40 km and 15 km wide, with some dunes around 300m high, Erg Chgaga is the largest and wildest of the Moroccan sand dunes.
It is an area of few roads so off road travel is the norm. The inhabitants are largely nomad and a highlight of this Desert Tour is to spend a night in a nomad camp followed by a camel ride as the sun rises over the dunes. Because it is relatively difficult to access – it is only accessible by 4x4, camel or on foot – Erg Chgaga remains significantly less visited than Erg Chebbi (which we include on our 3 day Desert Tour).
